Almost Thanksgiving

I have not shared a Grand Dog picture in awhile. Here's Callie with Grandpa Rich. She has to have her lovin (o: I have been at McDonalds with the granddaughter and a daycare sweetie and was met there by my sister, my niece and 2 of my Great Nephews. Hubby found out we were there for lunch and he came too. We had a nice time until the Play area got too LOUD.

I was sooo tired when I got home, but the kids had to have a second lunch (according to them). Then of course we had to watch the show we usually turn on before nap. Good 'ole' PBS. Then Shay decided to dump out a million Dominos...well maybe not quite a million (o: Then it is off to nap. I promised the four year old Granddaughter that I would lat down with her and I am REALLY tired....but I am waiting for the singing of the alphabet song to wind down. She has to talk and sing to fall asleep (o:... me I have to read. I don't really sleep, but I love to rest for a bit (o:
I have a back ache from moving furniture (or trying to) that I was tired of waiting for HELP! I have the rooms more or less like I want them. It makes me soooo happy. Now I am getting ready for our trip to Kansas City. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving with family in KC MO. Over the Hills and through the woods to Grandmothers ( she is 89) house we go!!! What about you all? Have a great Holiday if I don't get back here before Thanksgiving.

I can't believe you had 9o mile an hour winds and 3 snows already!! YIKERS!!! It is 77 here today and I had to put the air on because it was too hot inside. (I have allergies and if I leave the windows open too long I suffer. I love that dog. Is it part poodle---I forget the name of the breed I am talking about! The kids wanted more food!! Sounds like me--fall and food ----I feel like a bear.I wish we were traveling for Thanksgiving--hope you have a safe trip. I am having my 3 kids and 3 grandkids and my father-in-law over. It might be a tad crowded!! This will be the first time having 7 people spending the night in our downsized condo!! Plus my hubby and I--!!

My children quit coming to grand'ma's house several years ago as they all agreed my place is too small for our large group. This year my daughter and her hubby will be hosting our family feast and all but 2 of my son's and their families will be there. I have grand dogs too and they will all probably be there too. Your busy day with the little ones reminds me to be thankful that this year I'm not caring for my youngest grandson. They put him in daycare as he is very active and needs to be with other children too. This old lady would have a hard time keeping up with him on anything more than an occasional baby sitting day. Take care of that back. Moving furniture is hard. But I know you're glad to have things in place. Happy Thanksgiving and have a safe trip.

Callie looks happy to get her lovin from Rich. Family time at MD's sounds like fun.. and a nap to top of a busy day.
We are going to my daughters for Thanksgiving and she only lives a few miles away, as the crow flies.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving with your Grandmother and family in KC.

Be well and happy, Pam

Hi there, I can't believe how big Callie has gotten-she is so cute.
Glad you had fun with all your family at McD's. Boy is it cold here and so windy. Have a wonderful safe trip to Kansas; enjoy family & food and come back. My friend Cyndi is coming out again for a couple of weeks-maybe I'll be down in your area.
Hugs, Noreen

Pam, Pam, Pam-no more furniture moving, but I am glad you got things mostly the way you want them. I know how hard it is waiting for someone to help.
I know what you mean about a million dominos. When they get dumped out it feels like they are everywhere.
Have a safe and fun Thanksgiving trip.

The fisherman has been catching his fair share of fish lately. He can't wait to leave the house at the crack of dawn, but not before kissing my cheek and waking me up! grr

Awwww your granddog is so darling! That's a really cute picture:-)

Sounds like you've been having a wonderful and fun time with the grandkids and yes, I can well imagine how tired you are by the end of the day! lol

Oh dear, I do hope your back doesn't give you any more trouble. Moving furniture will do that for sure! I know what you mean, though, getting tired of waiting for help and doing it yourself.

We had our Thanksgiving in October so now we're preparing for Christmas:-) I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with your family in MO!! xoxo

Sounds like fun memories with the kids. The nap sounds delish!
Praying your travel is safe and the traffic is not heavy. We only travel an hour to my daughter's to celebrate with her family and in-laws.
