Then we were invited over to eat with the family. It was Todd's Birthday and what a fun evening we had. His wife managed to get him a skateboard that he had been looking at online. Talk about a blast from the past. He was into skateboards when he was about 12. It lasted for quite a while. Then it was rollerblades. I hope he wears a helmet like his mama made him when he was a kid (o:
Tomorrow I get to go to a Pumpkin Patch with that cute little button you see above. She was 2 in that picture and she is all grown up now.
FOUR.
This is her last year of pre-school (the last year of any of my Grands to be in pre-school). I am not crazy about how fast it is going. I am dragging my feet. It just keeps happening anyway. They are growing up. I am such a good Grammy to little ones.... even if I may say so myself. Not so sure about the 'Going to Homecoming' stage. Oh my Gosh!!!
Today the four year old sweetie tried on all of my dress up clothes and picked a lion for a halloween costume. She wants 'Whiskers'. Be still my heart (o:
P.S. more of the house guest entries to follow.

I think every one grows up with different set of inhibitions and parents. since my mom feared water, i never went near any water body. Now when I fear water .. i wont alow my kids in future to go near those. But it will b a choice for them. I was born in 1987 so there were meagre means of enetertainment and out of those meagre ones we never let anyn option open fopr us, it was our parents who had to choose how we should grow up. Now its 21st century even young ones have mood swings and their sentiments are respected.

Is there anything cuter than a kid in a pumpkin patch???
I know what you mean about the grandkids growing up so fast....even faster than our own kids it seems.
It sounds like you have been busy and having fun. You are right about the kids always wanting to make sure you are watching them.
The pumpkin patch picture is too cute.
Hope you have loads of fun with that all grown up 4 year old. Yes, they do grow up fast! I always feel blessed with any time I get to spend with my grands. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Swimming, ballet, pumpkin patches... what could be better? And I bet you'll have just as much fun as the kids get older.
You are absolutely a good Granny to little ones, and you will continue to be a good Granny. Our littlest is six already!! Way too fast! The trouble is, once they get older they have so many things they're involved in. It gets hard to even get to see them!
What beautiful pumpkins...especially that precious little one sittin' smack in the middle of the pumpkin patch!!!
God bless ya and have a magnificent day!!! :o)

Hi sweet friend, So what'd you think of the book? Loved hearing about your week-I'm a bit behind, it has been a tough week. We leave on Sat. for Washington state for the week. Have a great evening.
Hugs, Noreen
Its easy to tell that you are a fantastic Grandma, Pam. You devote so much of yourself to your whole family.

I too love fall. All the colors!! Crisp air.
You will be an awesome grammy to the "Homecoming" grands too!
I love fall and the pumpkin patch. Your picture is darling. Time seems to be flying so fast as I age.
Have a good weekend!
Blessings!
Janet
When the snow flies and you get weary of the cold and dreay.. just look back at your summer fun with your family and little munchkins:D here on your blog my friend.
Enjoy your weekend, Pam.
hugs,
Pam 2
Wow time does fly!
The two year old picture is so cute - and 4 is a great age. The twins are almost there, and are suddenly very in tune with the fact that they have a birthday coming up.
Hayley is a fabulous swimmer and Livi is coming along well. The twins loved swimming lessons, and we'll see what next year brings.
I love this young age, too, and DREAD the year that they all will be teens for a few days together. Yikes! I think I'll move then if they haven't by then!
I'm playing catch-up again!
I learned to swim in a mountain lake - near Estes Park - at summer camp. I wouldn't get in that cold water now if paid to! Such a cute picture with the pumpkins - they grow up so fast!
